The Computer University (Mawlamyine) is situated in Nyaung Bin Zeik Village, Kyaikmayaw Township near industrial zone in Mawlamyine, Mon State, Myanmar. The university compound is 21.09 hectare. There are fine classroom buildings and two chamaries with six classrooms which can hold hundred students and three classrooms which can hold thirty students, computer lab, Assembly hall, Office and Accounting department and Stores. The University was firstly opened as the Government of Technical College (G.C.C) on 4th September, 2000. It was upgraded to university level on 20th January 2001. At the end of 2001, the University was moved to near Industrial Zone, Nyaung Pin Seik village, Kyaikmaraw Township, Mawlamyine.
